- Language: These terms are provided in English for international accessibility. In case of disputes, the English version prevails for non-French users.
- Currency: All prices (when applicable) are displayed in your local currency where available, otherwise in Euros (€).
- Local Laws: Your local consumer protection laws apply in addition to these terms. We cannot waive mandatory protections you have under your country's laws.
- Service Availability: While our platform is globally accessible, actual repair services depend on local repair shops in your area.
- Time Zones: All times referenced are in Central European Time (CET/CEST) unless otherwise specified.

WHAT WE DO
The Repair App is a platform that connects consumers with independent repair professionals who can fix tech, fashion items, bicycles, and other belongings. We facilitate connections but DO NOT provide repair services ourselves.
For Consumers: Free service to find and contact repair shops.
For Repair Shops: Free listing with optional paid features (coming soon).
USER TYPES
These terms apply differently based on your user type:
Consumers (Individual Customers)
You are a "Consumer" if you're an individual seeking repair services for personal, family, or household items - not for business purposes. As a Consumer, you receive the full benefit of consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, which cannot be waived by these terms.
Repair Shops (Business/Professional Users)
You are a "Repair Shop" if you're a business, sole proprietor, or any entity offering repair services professionally. This includes individual technicians operating as businesses. Your relationship with us is business-to-business (B2B), meaning consumer protections typically don't apply to our services for you.
Determining Your Status
If you're unsure of your status: Are you using the platform to get personal items repaired? You're a Consumer. Are you offering repair services to others? You're a Repair Shop.
GENERAL TERMS
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must provide accurate information
- You must use the service legally and honestly
Your Account
- Keep your password secure
- You're responsible for all activity on your account
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion
Platform Status
We operate as an intermediary platform that facilitates connections between users and repair professionals. Under French law (which governs these terms), we are classified as a "hosting provider," meaning we are not responsible for content posted by users and are not a party to your agreements with repair professionals.

This section applies only to consumers (customers seeking repairs).
Your Rights
- Free access to search and contact repair shops
- Consumer protection rights (under applicable consumer protection laws)
- Right to accurate information about repair shops
Consumer Dispute Resolution
We're committed to resolving disputes fairly. Options available based on your location:
For EU/EEA Residents:
Free mediation through ANM Conso (French certified mediator):

Withdrawal/Cancellation Rights
Our basic service is free with no withdrawal period needed. For any future paid consumer services:
- EU/EEA: 14-day withdrawal right from purchase
- Other Regions: Cancellation rights as required by your local laws
Your Relationship with Repair Shops
When you engage a repair shop, your contract is directly with them, not with us. Your consumer rights apply to that direct relationship.
REPAIR SHOP TERMS
This section applies only to repair shops (professional service providers).
Professional Obligations
- Maintain accurate business information
- Hold required licenses and insurance
- Comply with consumer protection laws
- Handle customer data per applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Declare and pay your own taxes
- Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance for your jurisdiction
- Not misrepresent authorization status with device manufacturers
- Take full responsibility for warranty implications of your repair services
- Indemnify The Repair App against any manufacturer claims arising from your services
- Ensure all repair methods and parts comply with applicable laws
Free Basic Listing
Basic shop listings are free forever. We create and maintain your listing based on publicly available information.
Optional Paid Professional Services
We may offer optional paid professional services in the future. If launched, these will be governed by separate commercial terms including:
- Service level agreements and support terms
- Payment terms (standard 30-day payment terms with applicable late fees)
- Professional termination notice periods (30 days)
- Data processing agreements per applicable privacy laws
- No withdrawal/cooling-off period for B2B services
We may offer complimentary access to paid features for qualifying non-profit organizations (such as repair cafés and community repair initiatives) at our sole discretion.
B2B Relationship
Your relationship with us is business-to-business. Consumer protection laws do not apply to our relationship with you (though they do apply to your relationships with consumers). Professional dispute resolution is available through commercial mediation and arbitration services.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS
By using The Repair App, you understand and agree that:
- We are NOT a repair service provider
- All repair professionals are independent businesses - not our employees
- We do NOT guarantee the quality of any repairs
- We do NOT verify repair professionals' qualifications or licenses
- We are NOT involved in your transactions with repair professionals
- We are NOT responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items
- All payments and agreements are directly between you and the repair professional
- Repair professionals set their own prices and terms
- We operate as an intermediary platform under French and applicable international laws
- Independent repairs may affect manufacturer warranties so users should verify before proceeding
- We do NOT control or direct what repair methods professionals use
- We do NOT provide repair instructions, tools, or parts
- Repair professionals are solely responsible for the legality of their services
- We take no position on manufacturer warranty terms or repair restrictions
- All manufacturer and product names are trademarks of their respective owners
- We have no affiliation with device manufacturers unless explicitly stated
PROHIBITED USES
Do not:
- Use automated tools to scrape or copy our data
- Attempt to harm, hack, or overload our service
- Impersonate others or create fake accounts
- Harass other users or repair professionals
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Copy or redistribute our content without permission
- Knowingly advertise or sell illegal counterfeit parts
- Make false or misleading claims about your repair services
- Send unsolicited messages, spam, or bulk communications
- Contact users or repair shops for purposes unrelated to repair services
- Use the platform to advertise or promote non-repair services or products
- Submit false repair requests or waste repair professionals' time
- Engage in any form of abusive behavior toward other users
Violations of these prohibited uses may result in account suspension or termination at our sole discretion.
OUR CONTENT
All content on The Repair App (design, text, graphics, logo) belongs to us or our licensors. You may use the service for personal purposes but cannot copy or sell our content.
YOUR CONTENT
If you post comments or other content:
- You grant us the right to use it on our platform
- You're responsible for what you post
- We can remove content that violates these terms
- Don't post anything false, harmful, or that violates others' rights
PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
Data Controller: EURL Kleb Works, a French company, processes your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Your Rights: Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal data:
- EU/EEA: Rights under GDPR including access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction
- California: Rights under CCPA including access, deletion, opt-out of sale, and non-discrimination
- Other Locations: Rights as provided by your local data protection laws

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
As a hosting platform under French law:
- We provide the service "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness
- We're not liable for damages resulting from repair services or lost items
- We're not liable for repair professionals' actions, quality, or failures
- We exclude liability for indirect damages, loss of profits, or loss of data
- We retain liability for gross negligence and intentional misconduct as required by law
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under French law
- We operate as a neutral platform and are not responsible for any alleged intellectual property violations by repair shops
- Repair shops must indemnify us against all manufacturer claims
- We will comply with valid legal requests and court orders regarding content removal
- We maintain a notice-and-takedown procedure for legitimate intellectual property complaints
CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue The Repair App at any time without notice. We may also update these terms - continued use means you accept the changes.
GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
Applicable Law: These terms are governed by French law. EURL Kleb Works is a French company, and our platform operates under French regulations.
For Consumers
EU/EEA Residents: You may bring proceedings in the courts of Nanterre, France or in the courts of your place of residence. Your local consumer protection laws also apply and cannot be overridden by these terms.
United States Residents: Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, except you may pursue claims in small claims court if eligible. You retain all rights under US federal and state consumer protection laws.
Other Countries: French courts have jurisdiction, but we recognize that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply. Where legally permitted, disputes may be resolved through online arbitration to reduce costs.
For Repair Shops (Professionals)
All B2B disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the commercial courts of Nanterre, France, regardless of your location. French law applies without regard to conflict of law principles.
